HUMAN

January 9 – March 12, 2024

The exhibition will feature works and recent paintings by the artist Klara Chavarría, where our humanity is the significant subject. The works in the exhibition represent an exploration and interest in our humanity, our emotions, experiences, our relationship to nature and explore philosophical questions important for the artist and her body of work explored throughout her 20 year of professional art career.

The works presented throughout the entire exhibition space, explore and express our shared human experiences, our relationship with nature, our emotions and a deep interest in the soul.

Each work within the exhibition explores different artistic subjects employed by Chavarría, with some works that make reference to the personal experience regarding change and her recent relocation to the Southern California Coast. Each work has it’s own story and soul and they are an intimate figurative journey that explores our humanity in different forms with poetic emotional expressions.

On the exhibition, Chavarría states: "I want to make the invisible, visible; explore our human journey, our connection to nature, change and our emotions; from the physical to the spiritual, and from spiritual to the physical."
