Sarah’s Creations

July 2– September 30, 2024

Sarah’s decorative art is fired by her love of color and form – and desire to express her take on life’s most joyous and challenging passages. A hair designer for 30 years, she is a master at mixing color and creating shapes. Taking her art from the body to the canvas, she pours, tilts, and air-blows paint into provoking color forms that reflect nature, the elements and the human spirit.

Self-taught, Sarah’s primary medium is acrylic paints on canvas – matte finish or gloss. She also works with wood, tables, doors, and even surfboards. She customizes color and surface for her clients.

Born in Arizona, Sarah is an Air Force Brat who has lived in England, Germany, and various places in the US. Residing in the Point Loma area of San Diego for the past 30 years, she has developed a long and prolific career in hair design. As she says, she has “worked it, owned it, and taught it.” Her clients are her friends, and her three beautiful, young-adult children inspire her. Creating fluid art completes this from-the-heart trifecta.
