Twisted Timber

From the artist Negar Joy Monaghy:

I chose to entitle the exhibition Twisted Timber because my artworks display emotions of the society. I have lovingly worked on these pieces, adding textures and colors, light and shadows into the figurative characters. These pieces are created on MDF boards with oil colors and ink. These artworks are special to me because they are created while I was traveling in Europe and Asia and I created these pieces in Sweden and I was inspired by the Swedish cold nature. I’m here to give color to the world.
