Vira Ustianska

October 1, 2024– January 15, 2025

Vira Ustianska is a Ukrainian artist and art teacher, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Her paintings hang in Art Museums and private collections around the world. She paints in a variety of genres including still life, landscape, portrait and figurative. Her modern Impressionistic paintings vibrate with energy, connecting the techniques of classical painting and new composition.

Sunflowers are one of Ustianska’s main subjects—the official flower of Ukraine, they stand tall, grow strong, die and are reborn. She has embarked on a quest to paint 1000 sunflowers, and to date, Ustianska has painted more than 170 since the project began in 2020.
