Peepshow: Peeps Diorama Contest

Love them or hate them, you've got to admit that classic springtime Peeps marshmallow candies are cute... and perfect for using as characters in a diorama of a scene from a book or movie of your choice! For the second year, the OB Library will be holding a contest to select our favorite diorama during the month of March. Pick up a kit (which includes a box and a package of Peeps) and start building. You can use additional materials that you provide, or join us for a drop-in crafting party on Saturday, March 14 at 2pm or Tuesday, March 17 at 6pm to use the supplies we have on hand. Completed dioramas are due at the library before closing on Saturday, March 21, and voting will take place the following week. Winners will be determined on Saturday, March 28. Kits are limited; if we run out and you still want to enter, you will need to provide your own box and Peeps (but you can still use our supplies at our crafting parties). Since these dioramas will be on display in the library, please make sure the scene you choose is family-friendly.
