Join us at the Kensington-Normal Heights Library for our Persian Music Concert Series at the park. They will be joining us in October, November, and December!
MEHREGAN is an ancient Autumn Festival honoring the Zoroastrian divinity Mithra, who stands for friendship, divinity, and love.
Music is by Dornob Collective led by Farhad Bahrami. Farhad teaches World Music and Middle East Ensemble at Grossmont College. Feel free to bring your own instrument and participate! Joining are Nathan Hubbard (drums), Angelica Pruitt (bass), Trevor Andrew Hamer (ūd), Stephen Spaise (percussion), and Farhad (electric ūd). Dornob's mission is to cross cultural bridges through music.
Recommended for all ages. Please bring a blanket or camping chair to sit on the grass if you wish. We hope to see you there!
