Event Details

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 each year because the first three digits of the mathematical constant π are 3.14.  The Pacific Beach Library invites you to indulge in your love of pie on Pi Day by earning a free mini pie when you answer a math question at our Circulation Desk.  Pies available while supplies last.

At 4pm we will also screen Waitress (2007, PG-13, 107 min), starring Keri Russell as a small-town waitress who hopes to win a pie-baking contest and leave her boorish husband. Starring Keri Russell, Nathan Fillion, Cheryl Hines, Adrienne Shelly, Andy Griffith.  Click HERE for more information about this movie screening.
