Have you ever gone down a theremin rabbit hole on YouTube? Well, our friends at Project In A Box just did and had a blast! A theremin is an electronic, non-contact instrument played by moving your hands to alter the waves in order to adjust the pitch and tone! Join us and Project in a Box as we build a new project with a little twist: the instrument's sound will be controlled by the amount of light exposure allowed into the sensor!
Kits are created by UC San Diego's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering student led organization, Project In A Box.
No experience required!
A Middle School or High School student must be participating.
Limit 1 kit per household. Only 1 registration needed per household.
*If registration has closed and you're interested in attending future Project-In-A-Box workshops, please email LYee@sandiego.gov to be placed on our monthly email list.*
