The votes are in, and our community has chosen to watch Chariots of Fire! 

Chariots of Fire is the dramatic story of two runners competing in the 1924 Paris Olympics: both British, both from very different backgrounds.  This Best Picture winner is based on actual events. (1981, PG, 125 min)

On the 4th Monday of each month we screen a film that has been selected by the members of our community.  You can vote in-person at the PB Library's Circulation Desk, online in our Facebook poll, or by emailing your vote to cwainwright@sandiego.gov (link sends e-mail).  Also, please note that in February our "Monday Movie" series will tranform into "Friday Films" so as to not conflict with the free Tax Prep Assistance that will be offered on Mondays from February-April.
