Vote by Friday, September 13, to help select a film to mark the start of a new school year for us to screen on Friday, September 27 at 2pm! 

  • Back to School (1986, PG-13, 96 min)
    A self-made millionaire enrolls in college to get closer to his son. While there, the blunt-speaking blue-collar mogul butts heads with academics, and falls for an attractive English teacher.  Starring Rodney Dangerfield with Robert Downey Jr.
  • Dead Poets Society (1989, PG, 128 min)
    Robin Williams stars as a charismatic English teacher who enlivens his staid prep-school students with unconventional methods.

On the 4th Friday of each month we screen a film that has been selected by the members of our community.  You can vote in-person at the PB Library's Circulation Desk, online in our Facebook poll, or by emailing your vote to cwainwright@sandiego.gov.
