Arsenic and Old Lace (1944, not rated) is a classic screwball comedy directed by Frank Capra that is set on Halloween.  Laugh out loud as Cary Grant's character discovers that his sweet maiden aunts have been "helping" lonely old men by murdering them with poisoned elderberry wine... then it just gets crazier from there.
