In May the PB Library's Book Group discussed "Klara and the Sun" by Kazuo Ishiguro.  Come watch a film adapted from another of his award-winning novels, Never Let Me Go, on the Pacific Beach Library's big screen. 

Description: Sheltered boarding-school student Kathy and her fellow unsuspecting friends make a horrifying discovery about themselves following a daring escape from the academy where they've all grown up together. Now, in addition to confronting their own mortality, all three must come to terms with a lifetime of unfulfilled longings while pondering their true purpose for being.  Starring: Carey Mulligan, Andrew Garfield, Keira Knightley, Charlotte Rampling, Sally Hawkins.  (2010, R, 103 minutes)
