Program Description

Event Details

The Pillowcase Project presentation teaches participants how they and their households can best:

·  Prevent, prepare for and escape from a home fire.

·  Prepare for and stay safe when a natural hazard becomes an emergency.

·  Plus, practical skills to help cope with and stay calm during emergencies and other stressful situations.


Students will receive a free My Preparedness Workbook and a sturdy pillowcase to hold their own emergency supply kit.

This program is for children in grades 3-5 only.

Enrollment is limited, so advance sign-up is required. 

Children must be accompanied by a parent or other adult caretaker.

 

Participants agree to follow all relevant City of San Diego COVID protocols.
