Program Description

Event Details

In preparation for the San Diego Museum of Man's new exhibit, PostSecret, a PostSecret Street Team will be hosting a “pop-up” postcard-making station at the Central Library to collect and share San Diego’s secrets!  Come make a postcard, and learn more about the PostSecret exhibit, which opens April 14, 2018 at the San Diego Museum of Man.

PostSecret, which started in 2004, invites participants to anonymously write their secrets on handmade postcards. They mail the artful cards to PostSecret creator Frank Warren, and each week he selects and arranges a composition of secrets for his award-winning blog. To date, the project has received over a million submissions, some of which have been displayed at the White House and featured in six best-selling books. Warren is working with the San Diego Museum of Man to create a new exhibit featuring postcards collected in San Diego, across the country, and around the world.
