Build your very own Nattlampa, based on UC San Diego's Stuart Collection Art piece "Vices and Virtues" by Bruce Nauman! This kit centers around electronic components, including transistors and capacitors, to teach participants about concepts related to circuits and bread boarding. Participants will end up with an LED flasher circuit to light up alternating acrylic panels within a lasercut housing. However, participants are also free to use the project's components to experiment and create different circuits of their own!
Kits are created by UC San Diego's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering student led organization, Project-in-a-Box.
No experience required!
A Middle School or High School student must be participating.
Limit 1 kit per household. Only 1 registration needed per household.
Check your email to receive a notice about how to pick up your kit!
All participants are welcome. If you need special accessibility accommodations, please email LYee@sandiego.gov in advance of your participation.
If you have comments, questions, or grievances about Project-in-a-Box, please contact LYee@sandiego.gov.
