Program Description

Event Details

Hello doctors! It is an important part of your medical training to properly perform an operation. So, we will be teaching you how to build your own operation game, where you'll learn basic circuitry and programming with Arduino while also learning about the digestive anatomy and practicing your surgical skills. Hope to see you in the Operation Room!

This is an in-person workshop.

Kits are created by UC San Diego's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering student led organization, Project In A Box.

No experience required!

A Middle School or High School student must be participating.

Limit 1 kit per household. Only 1 registration needed per household.

*If registration has closed and you're interested in attending future Project-In-A-Box workshops, please email LYee@sandiego.gov to be placed on our monthly email list.*

All participants are welcome. If you need special accessibility accommodations, please email LYee@sandiego.gov in advance of your participation.

If you have comments, questions, or grievances about Project-In-A-Box, please contact LYee@sandiego.gov.
