Drop by the Children's Area to pick up a Quetzalcóatl Paper Chain Take & Make Craft Kit in celebration of Nuestra Cultura, or National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15). 

 

Quetzalcóatl (meaning "feathered serpent") was central to Aztec mythology and considered to be the creator of Mankind by the ancient Aztecs. The feathered serpent is a prominent symbol in many Mesoamerican cultures - known as Quetzalcóatl among the ancient Aztecs who lived in present-day Mexico and known as Kukulkan among the ancient Mayans who lived in present-day Central America.
