Bibliotecaria Ady will share "Radiant Child: The Story of Young Artist Jean-Michael Basquiant" by Javaka Steptoe with special permission from Little Brown Books for Young Readers. 

This is a marvelous tale that tells the story of young black queer artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat, who saw art & beauty everywhere growing up in New York City. For young readers, it sends a powerful message that art & life does not have to neat, clean, or within the lines to be beautiful.
