Rafael “Fallo” Mareyna - 'Art is Time, Time is Life' Art Exhibit

Opening Reception on Sunday, January 20th • 2:00-4:00pm

Rafael “Fallo” Mareyna is an inspirational 88-year-old Jewish Mexican artist who, despite a physical impediment, paints for hours a day in his Miramar studio. Some of his latest work will be on exhibit at the La Jolla/Riford Library from Sunday, January 20th through February 28th, 2019. His work is abstract in style, and he mainly uses acrylics.

Rafael Mareyna ‘Fallo’ de 88 años es un inspirador artista Judio Mexicano que, a pesar de un impedimento físico, pinta por horas en su taller en Miramar. Parte de su obra mas reciente titulado ‘Arte es Tiempo, y Tiempo es Vida,’ estara exhibida en La Jolla Riford Library desde el Domingo, 20 de Enero hasta el 28 de Febrero del 2019. Su obra es de estilo abstracto y usa mayormente pintura acrilica.
