Program Description

Event Details

Raksha Bandhan means "bond of protection and love." It is observed on the full moon day in the month of Savan.  On this day, a sister ties the "Rakhi" (a special thred) on the wrist of her brother and wishes for the bell being of her brother.  In return, her brother gives a gift to his sister and also promises to protect and take care of her forever. Raksha Bandhan is also known as "Rakhi".  Join  us as we celebrate this event with crafts, music, and refreshments.
