Program Description

Event Details

Celebrate Raksha Bandhan at the Carmel Valley Library. Raksha Bandhan, translates to “Siblings day.” On this day, sisters of all ages tie a talisman or amulet called the “rakhi” around the wrists of their brothers. The tying of this bracelet symbolizes a bond of protection between brother and sister. Here at the Carmel Valley Library, we welcome children of all ages to come and participate in our activities. *(no sibling required). Tuesday, August 5th, 4:30pm-5:30pm.
