Event Details

Ella Palmer is a San Diego based Girl Scout Ambassador who has a passion for promoting kindness and acceptance of others through children's literature. As her Girl Scout Gold Award Project, she decided to write a book  called 'Ralphie's Rainbow Hat' to publish which centers around topics of inclusivity and identity. Ella believes that including representation of different identities in literature for children is vital in order to create a kinder society. Immediately before the reading of 'Ralphie's Rainbow Hat,' Ella will offer fun activities which are tied in with her book.  She'll be available in the lobby near the entry to the meeting room from 3:00-4:00 PM.
