Books for Good Trouble Social Justice Dialogs presents an evening with debut YA author Kristen R. Lee, where we discuss the importance of representation, writing as a form of activism, and making a space for yourself in a world that feels like it isn't meant for you. This event is virtual and it will be streaming on our YouTube channel (@sdpubliclibrary).
Registered attendees will receive a copy of Required Reading for the Disenfranchised Freshman, while supplies lastm as part of our Books for Good Trouble: Social Justice Dialogues programming series. These dialogs encourage discussion of local community concerns and connects books, creators and encourages positive changes in our neighborhoods. Please specify your pickup location during registration.*
