A book discussion group for introverts, melancholics, those experiencing depression or difficulty, and anyone tired of the "happiness/sucess contest."

We are a supportive group for learning, community, self-acceptance, and embracing all emotions.

Held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Regular or occasional attendance welcome.

Reading will include:

  • Constructive Living: Outgrow shyness, depression, fear, stress, grief, chronic pain (Japanese therapies of Morita and Naikan) - October 2017
  • Bright-Sides: How Positive Thinking is Undermining America by Barbara Ehrenreich - November 2017
  • The Power of Meaning: Finding Fulfillment in a World Obsessed with Happiness by Emily Esfahani Smith
  • Personality Plus: How to Understand Others by Understanding Yourself  (personality types) by Florence Littanauer
  • Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain
  • A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle
