Event Details

Join us as the San Diego History Center discusses how San Diego experienced WWI in its own way – new military bases sprang up in the region, some of which lay the groundwork for future military installations in the region. This presentation will look at the camps and training centers that developed during this era. Additionally, this presentation looks at public sentiment about the conflict, life on the home front, and ways in which San Diegans contributed to the war effort.
