Description of Event
This will be a scripted mock trial entitled "Shylock versus Portia," based on the events in Shakespeare's play "The Merchant of Venice." Actors portraying characters from the play will give testimony in Elizabethan English and be cross-examined by opposing attorneys. The audience will serve as the jury and deliver its verdict by voice vote at the end.
