Event Details

In this challenge, you’ll build a boat that can hold the most pennies before it sinks. You will learn about different buoyancies of differently designed aluminum foil boats.  You’ll also discover surface area, density, and what makes something float. 

Geared to grades 5th - 8th.  Registration required.  Limit 15.  Presented by STEAM Coach Nathan.
