Two Shakespeare-inspired plays by Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw: “The Dark Lady of the Sonnets” and “Shakes v. Shav" - in celebration of Shakespeare's birthday (April 23).
Two pieces by American writer Mark Twain: “Support Your Local Police” and “A Medieval Romance” — entertaining satires adapted by Jules Tasca from Twain short stories.
A third piece by Shaw: “Beauty’s Duty” — capturing Shaw’s feminism and forecasting aspects of the 1960s.
