THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH is a Pulitzer Prize-winning play that follows the Antrobus family and their maid Sabina as they navigate through various historical periods, including ice ages, floods, and wars, exploring themes of survival and the cyclical nature of human existence. Presented by Breakthrough Workshop Theatre, this play blurs boundaries between past, present, and future, using witty dialogue and allegorical characters to explore timeless themes of resilience, adaptation, and the human capacity for survival and breakthroughs in the face of adversity.

This “Special Event Breakthrough Workshop” (staged reading) is being presented free of charge for one performance only at the beautiful La Jolla Riford LibraryMore information about BWT can be found at www.breakthroughworkshop.org or by following @breakthroughworkshop on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
