Event Details

North America will experience a total solar eclipse exclusive to the United States on the morning of August 21, 2017.   San Diego Public Libraries across San Diego are hosting viewing parties during the solar eclipse during this rare event. Each branch will have solar eclipse viewing glasses for Sky Party participants (supplies are limited).
