Description of Event
We are a group of La Jolla-based middle school and high school string musicians who aspire to bring smiles to the community through music and compassion. We play classical and popular music at hospitals, charity houses, nursing homes, retirement centers, and community events. We successfully performed for Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego last summer, during Halloween and the Holiday season. We hope to perform for the La Jolla community on April 8. The music would be popular songs (Disney, Hollywood movies) and children's songs. The primary audience would be families with young kids (preschool to K-12), though all are welcome. We want to use this opportunity to fundraise for a medical charity cause -Joey's Wings (child cancer awareness). The concert is free, but a voluntary donation is encouraged.
