Come learn the fun and rewarding craft of songwriting! On March 16 the Ocean Beach Public Library will be hosting a songwriting workshop presented by local OB singer-songwriter Lisa Dilk. She is a Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Finalist whose music has been recorded by Texas songwriter Guy Clark. Learn techniques and tools in a positive, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere to help you get started with songwriting. Whether you've already started a song, have a line or two for a song, or even just an idea, this free workshop is for you. Beginners highly encouraged to attend! Please bring a notebook and pencil, and an electronic device like your phone or tablet if you like to write on one. For ages 13+
