Program Description

Event Details

Learn how the Bora-Huitoto People, one of the many tribes living on the Amazon forest, make and use their drums to communicate among themselves and between villages.

Create and decorate a small drum replica and learn rhythmic patterns for music and communication purposes. 

Take home your new drum along with a guide to rhythm-making patterns to communicate with your friends and family in a new way!

Geared for ages 9 - 12.
