Event Details

Welcome to the Glider Landing Workshop, a featured event during San Diego Public Library's Spring into STEAM: Blast off!

Team up with real pilots, engineers, and technicians to learn about the principals of flight.  Then team up into squadrons and attempt to land your powered balsa wood glider on a replica aircraft carrier using design thinking, physics and flight testing. 

This program is for children ages 9-12. Registration is required.
