Did you know over 70% of the Earth's surface is ocean?! It is estimated that only 5-10% has been explored! We need more scientists that love water, plants, and animals to explore more of it!
Join us for this fun program by the League of Extraordinary Scientists where students will be introduced to marine plants and encouraged to think critically about what makes a plant a plant! How do plants work? Why aren't all plants green? What is a holdfast? We will discover what makes marine plants different from land plants, how we use products from marine plants every day, and more!
