Event Details

Our library is now 30 years old! Join us for a fun, free celebration hosted by the Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library (SRFOL)! We'll have lawn games and activities for children, teens and adults.

Attendees can eat tasty food and desserts, sign the Anniversary Banner and share their favorite llibrary memories. Plus, the first 30 kids (under 18) will receive a gift certificate for one free children's or young adult book from Grace's Book Nook.

At 10:30 a.m. we'll announce the student winners of our Essay Contest, followed by a preview of our soon-to-be-opened IDEA Lab. It is the San Diego Public Library's to come out and is funded by the SRFOL and matching funds. At the Lab you will be able to produce your own creativity via a 3D printer, laser cutter, vinyl cutter and multimedia workstation!
