Event Details

Build a KnightBot robot with the guidance of an expert from Robothink. Ages 7-12

RoboThink classes are full of hands-on STEM Robotics and Fun, children will work on Arduino-based Robotic designs while learning about Robotics (structures, mechanical wheel & gear systems, block Coding, Competitions, etc.) and STEM concepts (Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Creativity and Tech Literacy) in a fun way.

Each class students will build a different Arduino-based Robot (using didactic bricks, gears, wheels, DC motors, sensors, and controllers)  following step-by-step instructions and they will continue their learning by customizing & troubleshooting their cool robotic designs, solving challenges, and playing with other kids and robots at the robotics playground.

Throughout history, one of the most prestigious things someone can receive is the acceptance to knighthood. In the Medieval times, knights would fight one another so that kings could maintain their dominance. They were treated with the utmost respect and were heroes of the people. Today, we’ll get to reenact a Medieval conflict using our cells! Use the instructions on the following pages to build the Knight Robot. Once you’ve finished building your default fighter, take some time to make your combatant unique! And then finally, it’s time for you to test your mettle in the heat of battle!
