Event Details

Acclaimed authors Rajani LaRocca and Chris Baron will launch their new book, "The Secret of the Dragon Gems," at La Jolla/Riford Library's Summer Reading Program finale! San Diego Mineral and Gem Society will also be presenting "VERY COOL" gems, and there will be a gem hunt at the library following the event. 

"Co-written by Newbery-honor winning author Rajani LaRocca and Chris Baron, this page-turning novel is told through letters, e-mails, instant messages, and video chats between camp friends Tripti and Sam over their shared love of a book series and some mysterious rocks they brought home from summer camp."

Free to attend; copies of the book will be available for purchase through Warwick's.
