The San Diego New Verbal Workshop: Coyote Voicings         

SdNVW is an unconventional ensemble choir exploring music from the 20th century to the present day. Comprised of singers, musicians, and composers, they present 'Coyote Voicings,' a unique installation for Stay Strange.   

A vocabulary of the desert; drums+drones+rocks+chaos+cosmos+howls+shouts+words+voices.   

Pauline Oliveros, John Cage, Cornelius Cardew, Ursula K Le Guin+Todd Barton and more.   

'One day Black God was busy making the constellations by carefully ordering the stars in the sky when Coyote became impatient and tossed the remaining stars from a blanket into the sky, forming the Milky Way.’
