Description of Event
Students will read "Waiting for the Biblioburro" by Monica Brown. Halfway through the book students will begin cooking Empanada de Manzana and Sorbete de Manzana in honor of the main character in "Waiting for the Biblioburro." At the end of class students will discuss their creations, break bread with one another, and finish reading the story.
Class will run 75 minutes, students ages 6-10 years are invited to join.
Class size capped at 10 students for optimal experience!
