This summer we will be hosting a special Engineering Storytime provided by the San Diego Aerospace Museum in their special Mobile Bus Classroom!  San Diego Air & Space Museum presents a series of flying-related story times to send imagination soaring!                     *Pre-Registration is required for each session below as class size is limited to 30 kids, ages 3-5 years.

These storytimes will be STEM-based and focus on design thinking, literacy comprehension, prewriting, letter and sound recognition. This program includes a story followed by a theme-related hands on activities. Each student will be able to take home a copy of the book and an bagged activity to continue the learning at home!  

Schedule: 

July 13th @11am: Up Up and AwayFly high as we discuss aviation and various flying things from planes to balloons, to even birds!

July 25th@12pm: Three Pigs in Space: This classic tale is reimagined on the moon and we learn about homes of all kinds. 

August 10th @11am: Rockets and More: Blast off into space as we explore rockets, physics, and living and working beyond our planet

August 24th @11am: Migration: Delve into the movement of birds, butterflies, and people as we talk about journeys

September 12th@12pm: Spark of Innovation: Use problem solving to find creative solutions to problems big and small
