Join Señor Chon on Monday, February 14th at 10 am on the SDPL Virtual Hub and SY Facebook page, for a special Valentine friendship storytime as he reads, A Valentine for Frankenstein written by Leslie Kimmelman and illustrated by Timothy Banks.

"Frankenstein is really bad―at being a monster. He only has two eyes and no tail, he's kind of polite, and he's not even that disgusting. There's no way he'll be popular at the Valentine's Day Bash, where everyone is trying to be as revolting as possible. Frankenstein stands out at the Valentine's Day Bash for being less monstrous than the other guests, but to one smelly, rude creature that makes him the perfect valentine."

Special thanks to Carolrhoda Books & Lerner for permission to share this clever Valentine's Day-Halloween mashup with fun slime covered illustrations and a lesson of being yourself where kindness & friendliness prevails.
