Come take a walk on the wild side with Wild Wonders and their animal ambassadors! Through an interactive program, you will hear the stories of a number of animals, learn about the adaptations they have made in order to survive, and discover what conservation challenges they now face.

This is the University Heights Branch Library's kick-off event for the 2024 Summer Reading Program. It is free to the public and it is generously sponsored by the Friends of the University Heights Branch Library.

"Designed for all ages, [this] summer reading program will feature the idea of conservation. Conservation as a movement focuses on protecting species from extinction, maintaining and restoring habitats, enhancing ecosystem services, and protecting biological diversity. iREAD 2024: Read, Renew, Repeat makes for a wonderfully diversified summer reading program that encourages reading as a restorative method of self-improvement and self-preservation."

This summer, we are all about conversation in our Summer Reading Program! San Diego residents of all ages are encouraged to sign up for this event and Read, Renew, and Repeat! Complete a combination of 10 books, hours of reading or activities to claim your prizes. Sign up begins June 1st and the program will last through August 31st.
