Program Description

Event Details

Families are invited to participate in a Community Swap Event focused on sustainability, building community, and multicultural appreciation. Families can take part in free swaps for books for all ages, kids’ clothing, and toys while enjoying a multicultural storytime celebrating Palestinian culture, craft activities, and more! Presented by Free Family Book Swap.

Participants are encouraged to take home a free copy of the 2025 One Book One San Diego selection for kids or teens which will be made available during this event while supplies last. The 2025 kids selection is The Interpreter by Olivia Abtahi and the teen selection is Family Style by Thien Pham. Both of these titles feature themes of community, family, and cultural appreciation.
