Technology has made the world smaller for everyone, and for people who are blind, have low vision, or even those who are dyslexic, technology has made the world more equal. Even 10 years ago, a blind person could not use a cell phone or computer without a special software. But now anyone can use most smart phones and tablets right out of box! In this workshop, we will discuss the built-in accessibility features of iPhones/iPads for people who are blind, have low vision, or experience dyslexia.

Where can we find accessibility features? What is Zoom? How do we use it? What is Voiceover? How do we use it? Is Voiceover the same as Siri?

Would you like to learn more? 1-on-1 sessions are available for you at the Braille Institute.
