In Honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Toshwerks presents Flapping Sarimanok Puppet Craft. Experience the wonders of Sarimanok: the legendary Filipino bird of good fortune. Culture and Art collide in the fun and educational workshop. Participants will learn all about the Sarimanok fable, and then have the opportunity to create their very own extraordinary puppet with actual flapping wings. Recommended for ages 8 & up. Registration required. Space is limited.
