Inspired by the NEA Big Read, Emily St John Mandel's Station Eleven, Write Out Loud and Grossmont College Theater Department present a free performance of "The Traveling Symphony's Shakespeare Banished."

The Traveling Symphony, within the novel Station Eleven, is a travelling theatrical troupe living in a near future that has experienced a pandemic and subsequent collapse. The Traveling Symphony brings performing arts to the people and towns they visit, including music and Shakespeare.

Inspired by the theatrical troupe in the novel, this performance will be in front of the library, inviting everyone to linger and experience a short program.
