Union-Tribune language columnist Richard Lederer will share holiday history, lore, puns, and poems from his book. A Treasury of Christmas Humor. Along the way, he'll share the story of Christmas, the biographies of Santa Claus and Frosty the Snowman, and the history of Christmas words. Dr. Lederer invites you to purchase his books, A Treasury of Halloween Humor and A Treasury of Christmas Humor, $13 each, for benefit of Oasis. Dr. Lederer will explain how to order your copies during the lecture.
