Creative Collective promotes wellness and enrichment through art-making experiences. Join our open-ended art-making program where you are free to be creative and expressive with many different forms of art! All supplies will be provided. First come first served. Adults Only.
Lesson Topic: Creative Collective: Linoleum Block Printing
Learn about the printmaking process through linoleum block printing. We will use block printing, the process of carving and cutting a stamp in order to replicate a design over and over again, to guide a discussion of how artists use strong high contrast compositions to communicate emotion in their work. In the workshop, you will carve your own printmaking blocks to create unique prints, some you may want to use as holiday greeting cards this season.
Please join us.
This program will run every 3rd Tuesday of every month in the Mary Hollis Conference room, located on the 1st floor of the Central Library.
(Next door to the Library Shop).
