We the People

Crawford High School

Central Library | 2nd Floor Display

February 22 - May 4, 2025

San Diego Unified’s Crawford High School students are developing a graphic novel. This project is in progress and inspired by Neil Kendrick’ We the People: Hear Us Sing project. In this initiative, students create line portraits and reflect on their first voting experience, combining visual storytelling with personal narratives on civic engagement. QR codes will be embedded within the graphic novel, allowing viewers to hear students’ voices through accompanying audio recordings, further enriching their stories and perspectives on DEMOCRACY.
